Super Six is a Sri Lankan movie directed by Udara Palliyaguruge, . It was released on the 17th of May 2012. Starring Roshan Ranawana, Hemal Ranasinghe, Sanath Gunathilake, Aruni Rajapakse, Mahendra Perera, Roodney Warnakula, Priyantha Senevirathne, Saranga Disasekara, Suneth Chithrananda and Gaminda Priyaviraj. Super Six is Sri Lanka’s highest budget movie so far which was done at an estimated cost of Rs.99 million. [1] This film was shot in various locations such as Sri Lanka, Maldives and Malaysia.
Plot
The movie is based a group of friends who live in an enclosed apartment, crazy about nothing else but cricket, thinking of playing in a six-a-side tournament. They do many things to keep their team as the best ever six-a-side team but the mischievous behavior of each and every one causes problems within the team. After the joining of rival team captain, Jude, the story takes an unexpected twist in to a different path. The lives of these mischievous youth with micro-politics and their fantasies are the main theme of this movie. [2]Cast
